Spring has sprung and New York is brimming with events, exhibitions, shows and tours. With so many options out there, it might be hard to decide on what to do next time you’re visiting the city. We’re here to help you choose! Our April and May Owners Events highlight the best of the season. Read on to find out more!

April

Classical music will be the April centerpiece. On Monday, April 15, end your day with an orchestral showpiece by Béla Bartok and performed by The Budapest Festival Orchestra. Balcony Center Bartok’s The Miraculous Mandarin is a one act pantomime ballet that tells a lurid tale of seduction and murder with striking effects. If you’re interested in a passionate performance with dramatic music, this is the show for you!

Are you drawn instead to a neoclassical performances? On Thursday, April 18, the Orchestra of St. Luke will be performing works by Haydn, Ravel, Prokofiev and Stravinsky. Who wouldn’t want to spend a couple of hours listening to Hadyn’s Drumroll Symphony or Prokofiev’s Classical Symphony? With the talented Hélène Grimaud playing Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major, this performance will be a tribute to some of the greatest composers of the 20th Century.

After spending some time listening to world-famous music, it’s time to turn your attention to pop culture. Book a Radio City Backstage Tour to learn about the iconic New York venue, see its hidden nooks and crannies and hear its the legendary tales. If TV shows are your cup of tea, the NBC Studios Tour is for you. See where The Today Show, Saturday Night Live, The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night With Seth Meyers are taped.

Once we hit the height of spring, New York’s classical music scene is delighting Manhattanites with a brand new calendar. Contact us to reserve tickets for The New World Symphony concert featuring Michael Tilson Thomas (artistic director and conductor) and Yuja Wang (piano). The program includes Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 5, Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique and the NY premiere of Julia Wolfe’s Fountain of Youth.

Do you want even more world-class music? Then, mark your calendar for May 18! The MET Orchestra is performing Schumann’s Piano Concerto and Schubert’s Symphony No. 9 “Great” with Valery Gergiev (conductor) and Daniil Trifonov (piano).
