Ground Central have a few locations around New York yet they still maintain their cozy feel. They have a small library and couches at the back that bring back the nostalgic feelings of your living room. Relax and smell the old books. Order an expertly brewed coffee to go with fresh pastries. 

Radiance Tea House

OK, it’s not coffee, but if you are looking for somewhere to settle and really relax, then Radiance Tea House is the place. The hustle and bustle stops at the door. Step into a welcoming zen atmosphere, quiet music and hushed conversations. You can pick up some authentic noodles and dumplings here as well.

The Jolly Goat Coffee Bar

By roasting their own coffee, The Jolly Goat have real control over their coffee brews. A quick glance at their menu shows you that they know their stuff. This makes it the perfect place to come and show off how much of a connoisseur you are—or aspire to be. The coffee shop is small, so get there before or after the morning/evening rush.

Bibble & Sip is a great option to enjoy the sweetness of life. They offer delicious speciality coffee, but the real reason for coming here are the pastries and sweets that you can enjoy with it. There is plenty of space to sit and enjoy the exquisite scents wafting from their kitchen all day long.

Although 2 Beans isn’t as close as the others on this list, we think it deserves a mention. A sleek and modern interior sets this coffee/chocolate shop apart. The generous seating space, rows of teas and chocolates combined with the smell of freshly brewed coffee results in the perfect combo. After all, who can say no to artisan chocolate with their coffee?
