Young Frankenstein is a new musical by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, based on the 1974 motion picture. In this spoof of the Frankenstein story, young Frankenstein has been successfully running from his family's past - until the day he inherits his uncle's Transylvania castle. His travails at resisting the family business are told with hilarious running gags, catchy musical numbers and a great cast (including Roger Bart as Frederick, Shuler Hensley as the Monster, Megan Mullally as Elizabeth, Sutton Foster as Inga, and Andrea Martin as Frau Blucher).

The Farnsworth Invention, a new play by Aaron Sorkin, centers around Philo T. Farnsworth, a boy genius who invented television as a high school student in 1927, and his bitter rivalry with David Sarnoff, the head of the Radio Corporation of America (RCA). The play tells the story of the "little guy" getting crushed by the machine of the big corporation.

Camille Pissarro (1830 - 1903) was the only Impressionist to show his work in all eight Impressionist exhibitions, and the only painter among the exhibitors who was Jewish.
